Our mission
We are a research organisation and we aim to use our findings to influence where we raise money for charity. We follow one core goal which is to increase happiness and wellbeing in society in a sustainable and equal way.
Exploring Happiness looks to produce evidence-based research that generates policy recommendations focused towards sustainably increasing wellbeing across all areas of society. We also provide short videos explaining all our research.
The findings from our research help to form the direction of our fundraising events and initiatives. Within a given year we are looking to raise money for charities where we feel that our donations will have the biggest positive impact on peoples wellbeing. In 2022, we are doing just that by raising money for GiveDirectly, who are one of the most cost effective charities in the world. You can find our donation page here.
We have also created an index that allows you to track your happiness through time. The aim is to make you more well informed about what makes you happy in order to support your mental health. Our index can be personalised so that it is as relevant as possible to your life.
